A Friend Who Prays With You Is Better Than Someone Who Gives You advice

There’s nothing wrong with giving pieces of advice. If you think that you experience something that can help your friends, then you can absolutely share those lessons with them. But sometimes, no one can really understand what our friends genuinely feel inside and what they need is not someone who will give them some tips and advice but a friend who will lead them to prayer. The kind of friend who will remind them that God still exists and that nothing is impossible for Him.

Acknowledging God in your friendship is a very important thing. Prayers are so powerful that it does not only change your heart, but God’s presence will also reign to the person you’ve been praying for. He is the only one who can absolutely comfort your friend. He knows what to do, and He holds all the answers. So it’s better to trust in Him rather than trusting on our own understanding.

Reminding your friend that God still exists and that He loves us no matter what happens is already a big thing. A friendship that is built in faith is stronger than anything else. We all wanted to help our friends, but the best help we can give them is to never stop praying. Please do not underestimate your prayers because it can do greater things than what your mind can comprehend. Know that in the spiritual realm, God is doing something great for your friend.

Yes, your pieces of advice will somehow help your friend, but then it’s good if you will start to consult God first before telling them something. Because most of the time, God will just reveal to you the best thing to do. He will teach you how to help and comfort your friend. Remember that He knows what your friend truly feels. He can possibly touch your friends’ hearts and give them enough strength.

Learn to appreciate those friends who keep on praying for you. They are priceless treasures from God, and they are sometimes hard to find. Thank them with all your heart, and keep on praying for them as well. Never forget that God hears your heart, and He is always listening. Sometimes, your friends may not appreciate the things you are doing, but in God’s eyes, He acknowledges your prayers. He will move in ways we cannot see, and by the grace of God, your friend will smile again one day.
