A Missed out Opportunity can lead you to a Better one
There will be days in your life when everything you have desired will not be given to you. You are meant to do great things, but they will not always be given to you in ways you expect. Sometimes, you will be so frustrated over something that by the time you almost have it, it will just slip through your hands and be gone. You will feel like you have already put all your weapons and strength yet nothing is happening. You will feel so drained and clueless and end up crying over missed out opportunities. Doubts and what-ifs will suddenly flash in your mind, and you cannot stop thinking of what would have happened if you chose to do better things than you did. But know that you cannot turn back time, and feeling regretful over things won’t elevate your situation. However, you should not blame yourself.
Because what if God intended you to lose, for Him to have a space in your life? He wants to pour the blessings that can help you be better and lead you to more extraordinary things.
It is hard to fill a cup that is already full. And maybe you are so full that God wants to empty your cup first so that He can supply you with His. When you miss some opportunities, remember that God never runs out of goodness. What you thought you missed may be a blessing that will lead you to greater ones. Maybe the things He didn’t allow to happen saved you from doom.
Just remember that life happens just as it is. You may have the choice to do things, but not all situations and outcomes are in your hands. You can only control what you have; the rest will unfold it God’s perfect timing. So, please don’t blame yourself. Instead, offer them to God, for He will listen to you. He will listen to your cries. And He will also lead you to the things He prepared.
If God is great in somebody’s life, then He can also do it to yours. God’s ways are different for each of us. He knows you in a way that only He knows. How He describes fulfillment is different in this world. So, know that how He blessed you has a unique message that only you can understand and communicate with each other. He will bless you with wealth that never fades and lessons that can never be taken away from you. He will teach you how to strengthen your faith and help you realize that there are treasures within you that only need to be nourished to bloom.
God knows you. He knows your unsaid prayers and hidden desires. He knows your purpose and your heart. He is patient with you. He will teach you His ways as long as your heart is ready to receive. A missed out opportunity will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. You may not see it by now, but soon, when other things unfold in your path, you will realize how blessed you are. And how grateful you can be that God chose better stuff for you.
