A Small Voice Within

I prayed for someone
Who will support me all the time
Someone who will believe in me
Even in moments when I doubt myself

And only then I realized
that I’m praying and longing
for something that I already have
Inside my heart

A small voice within
Keeps on telling me
That I am loved
And deeply appreciated

He knows my identity
And He believes in me
He accepts me for who I am
And He treasures me with all His heart

He is my best friend
My ultimate comforter
He is my first love
And His name is Jesus
