Self Development

Accept the Truth that you are still Learning

The learning journey takes time and effort. So be patient with yourself. You need to grow so, please do not rush your timeline. Take your time, and instead of blaming yourself for the mistakes you made, just learn the lesson and treasure the important moments you experience, even if they are not that beautiful. Because one way or another, you are shaped according to the things that you’ve been through in life. You are who you are because of the situations that God allowed you to experience and the people that you meet. You are learning even if you can’t see your growth. So please learn to appreciate the season that you are in. Accept the truth that you are still in progress.

Please know that mistakes are part of life. When you go to school, you are not expected to figure out everything. You will take a pre-test first so that your teacher will know the things that you need to learn. And in that test, students are not expected to get high scores. And sometimes, this life works the same. We need to go through certain situations so that we will realize the important things that we need to learn. Mistakes are there, but that doesn’t mean we are doomed to fail. Because behind those wrong choices are opportunities for us to grow and become better versions of ourselves.

Just keep growing, and please try to be patient with yourself, especially in moments when you can’t understand what’s going on deep within. Do not compare your progress to others. You have a different road to take, and their success is not your success. So focus on what God prepared for you and do your best to learn new things. Remember that you have a unique journey, so stop looking at the progress of others. Set your eyes on the lessons that you need to apply in your life. Do not pressure yourself. Instead, enjoy your journey with God. Let Him take you to the places you’ve never been before.

Allow yourself to go through the process. If you feel so tired, you can rest, but please don’t punish or condemn yourself. Learn to receive God’s love so that you will also know how to accept yourself. You are not perfect. That’s why you still need to learn a lot of things. Just be humble in the presence of God and acknowledge the truth that you need Him to guide you along the way. Let Him be your teacher, and you will not feel so burdened inside.
