Acknowledge Your Negative Emotions But Never Allow It To Influence Your Actions
You can always express your negative emotions. In fact, you need to acknowledge it. Because the more you ignore it, the more it will destroy your life. But even though you need to face it, that doesn’t mean you will allow the negative things you feel inside to influence your actions. Remember that God gave all of us the freedom to choose. Your emotion is not an excuse to do bad things to other people. It’s there to reveal to you the matters of your heart and not supposedly hurt others. So when you feel angry, sad, worried, anxious, and in pain on the inside. Please try your best to deal with it in private. You can ask for some help. Try to manage yourself. Think first before you do anything. Remember that the pain we feel inside doesn’t give us permission to hurt others.
Learn to process your emotion in private. You can ask for help from your trusted family members or friends. You can share with them all your thoughts and your frustrations. But please never decide to do something if you are still emotionally unstable. If you don’t want to talk to anyone, then you can stay in your own room and burst out everything. One of the best things that you can do is to surrender it all to God. Share to Him what you truly feel inside. Pray and let Him comfort you. He will always be there to help you understand yourself. He knows what you truly feel.
