Acts 16: 25-26, NIV
Paul and Silas were put into prison for sharing the word of God. But they did not take it as something that would break them in the end. Instead of questioning God, they chose to pray and sing hymns while they were in the prison cell. The other prisoners were also listening to them. They did not allow their fears to conquer their faith. Paul and Silas showed the prisoner what it truly means to follow God. They introduced to them who God is by how they handled the unexpected situations they experienced. They remained in God’s presence despite the hardships. And because of that, God did something remarkable. The prisons were shaken, and doors opened. Everyone’s chains came loose. You see, your prayer to God will never be in vain. So when you are going through some struggles, just lift up your hands and continue to worship God with all your heart, and you will see that the chains in your life will break in His presence.
May you never stop worshipping God, even in the midst of pain.
