His Word

Acts 26:22-24, NIV

But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.” At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning is driving you insane.”

Acts 26: 22-24, NIV

Paul was an intelligent person. He knew what was written in the law, and He was even part of the people who used to persecute the early Christians. But when Jesus supernaturally encountered him. Things in his life changed. He became our Savior’s follower and was brought to the officials to defend his faith. He testified about Jesus’ resurrection and boldly proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah. And because of this, Festus, the Roman procurator, accused him that he is out of his mind. Imagine Paul received these harsh words, but that doesn’t stop Him from serving our Lord, Jesus Christ. You see, you never really know how people will respond to the message that you are sharing with them, but what’s important is you know that God is with you. And he will give you the strength that you need, just like what he did to Paul.

May you keep on sharing the gospel despite the persecutions that you face.
