Acts 5:12-15, NIV
The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
Acts 5: 12-15, NIV
Jesus remained faithful to His disciples even after He resurrected. He sent the Holy Spirit to guide and give them the power that they need to proclaim the gospel. Peter is one of those who experienced what it feels like to be used by God. Even though He committed mistakes before such as denying Jesus three times, still Jesus used Him to show to the people His power. By Peter’s shadow, those who are sick and broken are healed. That’s how amazing the Holy Spirit is. So if God asked you to share the good news, then know that just like what He did to His disciples before, He will also send the Holy Spirit to help you.
May you always allow the Holy Spirit to use your life for the expansion of God’s kingdom.
