Allow your Potter to Mold you
God allowed the difficult things to happen in your life, not to destroy you or bring you down, but to mold you. Remember that you are brought here on earth, not as a perfect person. That’s why you need to go through the process and learn new things. Sometimes, you will experience moments that will break your heart, but if you just focus on doing the will of God, you will surely discover the important lessons behind all your problems.
You need to know that you are still in the molding process. Your Potter is still transforming you into the person He wants you to be. So trust in His hands even if you can’t see His plans yet. Be patient in moments when you go through pain because that’s the time when He is working on the inside and He is building your foundations. Your Potter is a skilled artist. He knows what He is doing. There may be moments when you just want things to stop but always remind yourself that great things take time and require more patience.
Your struggles will lead you to become a better version of yourself. The lessons that you will learn will change your mindset. They will widen your perspective and will let you see the bigger picture. Maybe you can’t appreciate them for now, but when you see yourself growing, you will realize that all the hardships you overcome lead you to become the person God created you to be. So instead of treating your problems as something negative, why not look at them as your mentor and teacher. Try to evaluate the lessons behind your situation and focus on the things that you can apply in the future. It may be hard to think of the positive things, especially when you already feel so tired and helpless, but keep in mind that this is the perfect time for you to stretch yourself and do things you never did before. Treat your problems as part of the process. Then you will enjoy the journey with Him.
God is aware of your pain, but He wants you to experience the best things. He would rather allow you to go through the difficult path just for you to know Him more than walk through the smooth roads but fail to discover His love. The thirst that you feel inside your heart will only grow deeper the moment you experience hardships in life. It will lead you closer to Him only if you choose to trust in His ways and stay in His presence. He is after your growth. He wants you to be fully rooted in His love so that when you encounter strong winds, you will not be easily shaken. Instead, you will fully depend on God. And that kind of trust will be developed in the darkest seasons of your life. It’s when you stop relying on your strength, and you start living according to His ways.
You may not see it, but your creator is molding your heart during those moments when you can’t understand what’s happening. He is changing something inside. You will not understand at first, but if you keep on hearing His words, then your mind will be enlightened about what He is doing behind the scene. Soon, you will see beauty from within. You are a priceless masterpiece simply because God is your Potter. He is transforming you into something you are can never imagine. So instead of following your plans, let God reign in your life. Acknowledge His timeline and believe with all your heart that His hands are leading you to the place that He prepared. When all your days are through, and when you look back to the things that God did, you will feel in awe because you will see in your own eyes the changes that manifest not just on the inside but also in your surroundings. It’s going to be a glorious day, and your life will never be the same
