Be with Someone who will Respect you as a Child of God

A person who treats you like a child of God always knows how to respect and love you. They know how you should be treated because they already have a relationship with the Creator of this world. So never allow yourself to be with someone who doesn’t even know your loving Father. Remember that you are a child of a King, and you simply deserve to be treated with respect. Know your identity in the Lord. You are not an orphan. Your Father loves you so much that He gave His only begotten son to save you, and the right person knows that truth. You don’t have to prove yourself to others because you know that being a child of God is more than enough for you to say that you are complete and whole.

The right person listens to the voice of God. You don’t have to show or tell them about how they should treat you because they already know what love is. People who first encounter the love of God will see things brightly. They know what is right and wrong, and they will treat you with respect because they know how much God loves you. That’s why, if you think that your partner right now doesn’t even have a relationship with God, then never stop praying for him. If you are still single, then pray that God will send someone who already knows their identity in the Lord because that kind of person knows how to treat you well.

Wait for someone who will see you as God’s beloved. That person may not be perfect, but he will try his best to grow in the Lord. He has a teachable heart that’s willing to listen to the word of God. You will grow together as long as you make God the center of your relationship. Be patient, and do not be in a hurry. You will know he is the right person if you see him treat others as God’s children and His creation. The way he respects and humbly serves God, and other people will give you clues on how he will also respect you. 

While you wait for the right person, always choose to grow in the Lord. Remind yourself about your true identity so that you will not easily fall on the trap of getting into a relationship just for fun. The moment you allow someone to enter inside your heart, then it means that you are also giving them the chance to influence you. So strengthen your foundation in the Lord, and you will not be easily shaken. Let God treat you as His precious child, and you will know how to love and respect others. Only then will you attract the person who you think you deserve.
