Before you judge someone, never forget that you are also a Forgiven Sinner
Never forget those moments when God poured out His grace in your life. Just like all His precious children, you are also one of those sinners that He chose to forgive. Keep that in mind because it is one of the important forces that will help you stay humble when you notice other people’s mistakes and sins. Let His grace reminds you to stay compassionate despite the pain that you experience. Never forget who you were before God picked you up. You may have a different identity right now, but that doesn’t mean you already have the right to judge others as if you are always blameless and pure. It’s all because of Jesus that you are made righteous in the eyes of God. Keep that in mind so that you won’t easily put other people down.
Remember that God sustains you by His grace. You may think that you can boast about your efforts and own strength, but the truth is, you can never repay God. Everything that you have right now is all because of His goodness and faithfulness. He may bless the works of your hands, but that doesn’t mean you are allowed to boast about what you have. We are all recipients of His unfailing grace. It means that we live and breathe because of Him. We are blessed not just because of what we can give to Him but because of His great love for us. We could’ve experienced terrible consequences because of the things that we did, but God is gracious. He saved us from eternal condemnation. Keep this truth in your heart so that you will never boast about the things that God poured into your life.
Stay humble even if you are mistreated. Love others just like how Jesus loved you. Focus on the blessings that God gave and not on the bad things that happened in your life. Be grateful and stop complaining about the things that you can’t control. Surrender the pain to God and allow Him to speak. He will teach you how to serve and stay kind to others despite the things you experience. He will keep you secured in His arms, and you will never be shaken. You may be tempted to judge other people because of what they did, but remember that they are also God’s children. And just like you, they also need grace.
Never treat yourself as better than others. Before you think of vengeance, remember that you are also a forgiven sinner. God loved you even before you asked for forgiveness. His grace already surrounds you even before you choose to repent. God has been good to you even before you decided to follow Him. All He wants is for you to learn how to love others. He wants you to live in His kingdom and allow His power to reign. When this happens, you will find it so hard to judge others.
