Behind the Waiting Season is an Opportunity for your Faith to Grow

If you are in the waiting season right now, then rejoice and don’t be discouraged. God is giving you the opportunity to know Him more. He allows you to stay in that season so that you will learn to set your eyes on Him and depend on His power. You may think that God has already forgotten you because He doesn’t answer your prayers, but the truth is God is working inside your heart. He is building the foundation that you need to overcome certain storms in your life. He is exposing you to certain experiences that will teach you how to properly steward the blessings that you prayed for. So don’t be in a hurry. Treasure your season and allow God’s love to reign while you are waiting.

Your faith will never be the same after waiting. You may not feel the changes that are happening around you, but deep within your soul, God is doing something. He is changing the way you see things. He is molding your heart so that it will be strong enough to overcome any challenges. He is giving you the chance to experience intimate moments with Him. There’s a possibility that the blessings that you prayed for will distract you from pursuing Him. That’s why, He needs to teach you how to stay connected to Him even in moments when you are so overwhelmed by what’s happening around you. He needs to give you the right foundation so that you will properly handle what He has prepared.

Patiently go through the process with the Holy Spirit. Listen to His voice, and He will teach you what to do. Read His word. Let His promises give you the courage to finish the journey that He orchestrated. Don’t worry. There’s no such thing as too late or too early in God’s timing. He is perfect. That means that when He moves, everything falls in the right place. Just be kind to yourself while you walk along the waiting season. Don’t allow your own expectations to destroy what God planned. Surrender your desires in His presence and respect His schedule. He is sovereign, after all. So raise your hands and worship Him while waiting.

One day, you will thank God for giving you the chance to experience that season. You may not appreciate everything that He is doing right now because you can’t see what’s ahead. But the time will come when you look back and appreciate the miracles that God did behind the scenes. So stay faithful to Him even if you are having a hard time. Let the waiting season lead you to become a better person. Honor Him in everything that you do, and what you offer for His glory will never be in vain. It will be worth it in the end.
