Change Happens when you Learn to receive God’s Presence

Only God can change you from the inside out. His grace can shift the way you see your life. And it’s not about your own efforts and strengths, but it’s more about God’s presence. So if you want to experience breakthroughs, just open your heart and humbly receive the love of God. Accept the truth that you are a treasure in His eyes. When you believe with all your heart that God is in love with you, then you will also live according to the identity that He has given you.

Focus on knowing your King, and you will discover your true worth. Change happens when you are fully convinced that you are a child of God. When you live according to His ways, not because He asked you to do it, but because you wanted to please and honor His name. That’s when you realize that change isn’t that hard to do because you learned to make happy sacrifices for your Savior.

Making the right choices will never be that challenging if you are in love with God. When you find satisfaction in His arms, the pleasures of this world can no longer tempt you to look back and live in the past. His great love is always more rewarding than the happiness that you can get from this world. You will have the courage to take the hard steps because your heart is deeply rooted in His presence. Nothing in this world can easily destroy you because you know that deep inside, God will be there to save you. That kind of faith and trust will lead you to a righteous life. It’s all by His grace. You will only learn to believe in Him when you know who He truly is.

Let His presence consume your heart. Allow Him to come in and teach you the right perspective. Open your heart so that the Holy Spirit can plant fruitful seeds inside. Don’t walk along the journey on your own. You may think that change depends on your actions, but the truth is, you will fail to experience it when you rely on yourself. You need God. You need His grace and power to consume and transform you. You need His great love to give you the assurance that your life will be better. Hold His hands and depend on Him. Ask for His help, and He will always be there.

You may have your own plans, but remember that you need to learn how to control yourself so that you can turn those plans into reality. You can do that through the Holy Spirit. Self-discipline is one of His fruit. When you let Him reign, you will slowly see the changes you wanted to happen in your life. Just don’t focus on your weaknesses. Instead, gaze upon the glory of God and remind yourself that He alone can lead you to a life that is worth living. Focus on building His kingdom and everything else will follow.
