Choose to Love

Choosing to love despite pain
Takes courage and faith
It feels like dying inside
And surrendering feelings of bitterness

To accept imperfections
Pain needs to be set aside
To do the right thing
Is to let go of fear

It is hard but possible
Love still functions even wounded
Just keep on trusting God
And He will take care of your heart

Believe that He will protect you
It does not mean painless
But be able to go through with it
And to keep on moving forward

One thing to remember
You just need to follow His voice
Even if it feels so hard
And failed to obey His word

Stand again and try
Do not give up
Love despite what you feel
Like sowing that will honor Him

When you choose His commands
You also allow Him to heal
Although it takes time
It will be all worth it in the end
