Comfort Others Even If You Are Also in Need of It

Please do not stop caring and showing your affection to others who need it. When life throws stones at you, it doesn’t mean that you will throw them back to others. Instead, do what is right and what is good. Remember how God saved you from your own battles, and know that there are people who are still in that kind of war within themselves. It is hard for a person to escape from the type of pain and hurt that becomes part of their comfort. That is why they cannot avoid hurting others as well. So when you meet them, try to be more patient and understand them.

God would let you meet people in life who are very different from you. They could be the people who will challenge your patience to its limits. When that moment comes, think of it as an opportunity to do what is good. It could be hard sometimes, but do the right thing and stick with it. There are still many people out there who are still in need of healing. Just like you, they needed help. They also need the care and the understanding that you have. When you show kindness to them, it could also change their lives.

God can use your situation to teach you how to be a kind, generous and loving person. He will also send people in your life that will help you discover how love really works. Remember that in this life, you are not meant to live on your own but also to be a vessel of God’s love. Never think of it as a punishment, but rather an opportunity for you to grow and learn.

When others seek your comfort and understanding, try not to doubt yourself and freely give it away. You have the gift of understanding. It is tough to love, but it is worth it. It will give you wisdom on how to unload your own burden. It will also help you live a life of fulfillment and satisfaction. It would help you listen and discern what God wants you to know and how to act in difficult situations. That is why, let Him use your life to share His kindness and compassion.

God is working within you. He is teaching you right now. He is revealing  to you how to be grateful. He is giving you the assurance that His love will lead you no matter what happens.
