His Word

Day 143 – 1 Samuel 1: 26-28

…and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.

1 Samuel 1: 26-28, Niv

Hannah is one of God’s faithful servants who also feel troubled inside. She wept bitterly to the Lord and ask for a son. And God heard Hannah, He gave her a son, and she named him Samuel. He grew up in the presence of God and became a prophet. God never abandoned Hannah in her seasons of bitterness and misery. He provided her with what she prayed for. If you ask God for a blessing in your life, then have faith and do not stop praying. If God could perform miracles in Hannah’s life, then He could possibly do great things in your life as well. You just have to trust Him. Continue to be faithful to God, and He will provide for the things that you need. He is not deaf. He is listening to the cries of your heart.

May you never stop praying to God and always trust Him despite the things happening around you.
