Day 149 – Mark 10:44-45
…and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Mark 10:45-44, NIV
Jesus came here on earth to serve the people. He sacrificed His life so that we will be saved. May we also learn to love the people around us the way Jesus loves them. Let’s continue to love them with all our heart, even if sometimes it’s challenging. Loving and serving people who don’t have a grateful heart is sometimes disappointing, but always remember that you are also serving God as you serve them. Do it for the glory of God, and you will always have the courage to do good things to the people who caused you pain. Help and serve the people around you, and God will bless you with His abundance.
I pray that you will always choose to humbly serve the people around you, even if it hurts sometimes.
