Day 160 – Luke 1:28

Sometimes, when we face unexpected moments in life, we tend to ask many questions instead of trusting God. But then, Mary did the exact opposite. Instead of complaining to God, Mary humbly accepted the news that she received from angel Gabriel. She treated herself as God’s servant, and she firmly holds on to her faith. What she did is a perfect reminder that there are really moments in life when we can’t simply understand the things that are happening.  What we can do is to simply trust in God and still obey Him despite all the uncertainties. We may not see what’s ahead, but we need to keep our faith just like what Mary did.

I pray that you will always have a humble heart to obey God despite all the uncertainties you experienced in life.
