Day 169 – Psalm 119:18
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
Psalm 119:18, NIV
Pray that God will open your eyes so that you will learn to appreciate His laws. Sometimes, we can’t see its value because we think that it is just about God correcting us to do the right thing. But it’s not just about following what’s written in His word, but it’s about taking delight in His instructions. And we can only treasure everything that He has given us, including the words written in the Bible, if the Holy Spirit is in us. So keep praying and allow Him to teach you how to look at His laws according to His perspective. If you only realize the beauty of God’s words, you will surely feel in awe because of its wonders. Find time to connect to Him by reading the scriptures and keeping His laws in your heart.
