Day 173 – Luke 14:27
And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

Following Jesus is not an easy journey. You need to give up your selfish desires so that Christ can live inside your heart. Your faith will be tested, and you will be refined from time to time. There will be pruning so that you will grow and produce fruit. The process will be challenging but rest assured, every hardship is going to be worth it. Because only then will Jesus be glorified in your life. Carrying your cross may be painful and hard, but always put in your heart that following Jesus is the best thing that you can do. You need to let Him reign so that You will be able to share His light with others. You need to accept His love even in the midst of brokenness so that you will also learn how to love those people who caused you pain.
I pray that God will always give you the courage to carry your own cross for His glory.
