Day 183 -Luke 24:38
He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?”
Luke 24:28, NIV
This is exactly what Jesus said when he appeared to His disciples after He has risen from the dead. His disciples felt so frightened when they saw Jesus. That’s why Jesus asked them why they are so troubled. They couldn’t believe what they saw, and they just feel startled. Human as we are, we also feel the same thing. They even physically saw Jesus, but then they still have doubts inside. But just like what He said to His disciples, Jesus also wanted us to fully trust in Him. He rose from the dead, and that message alone is powerful enough for us to believe that He can save us from our sins.
I pray that you will always choose to have faith in the name of Jesus.
