Day 192 – John 6:38
For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
JOhn 6:38, NIV
We all have plans in our lives. We sometimes do things because it’s part of what we wanted to achieve. But Jesus didn’t plan everything on His own. He came here on earth to do the will of the Father and that’s to save us from the fires of hell. He didn’t do everything out of selfish desires. Jesus offered His life for us so that we will experience heaven with Him. May we always reminded to follow His will rather than do things on our own. He simply deserves all the glory and honor. Everything that we have is all because of His great love. His mercy is just too deep for us to comprehend that it pushes us to abide in Him.
I pray that we will all focus on the will of our Heavenly Father just like what Jesus did.
