Day 207 – 2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14, NIV
This is a promise from God. He will answer our prayers if we learn to be humble and repent from our sins. Do what is right in His eyes and please His Name. Acknowledge the truth that you need His grace. Keep praying and seek His face. Focus on His instructions and change the way you think. Coming to God is not just about changing your heart, but it’s all about complete transformation. He wants to change your life. And that’s what repentance is all about. Confess your sins and receive His forgiveness. Only then will you have the courage to turn from your wicked ways.
May you humble yourself and change your wicked ways so that you will receive the answers to your prayers.

I realize I don’t daily confess my sins. But I noticed when I make a concerted effort as I pray ACTS. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication, I find that the order of prayer really does order my day. And not only that but having a plan on how to prayer keeps me in prayer. Being humble before God is where it starts though.
