Day 217 – Lamentations 3:24
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
Lamentations 3:24, NIV
There are days in our lives when we want things to happen instantly, but we need to acknowledge the perfect will of God. Instead of feeling impatient, we must find our satisfaction in Him. Let’s treat Him as our portion. He is the only One who can make us truly happy and complete. When we find ourselves resting in His presence, we will also have the patience to wait for His blessings. God may work in ways we can’t see, but all He wants is for us to grow and be deeply secured in His arms. Trust in Him. Let Him be the only One who fully makes us whole, and only then will we learn to treat the waiting process as part of His blessings.
May you choose to treat God as your portion, and you will have the motivation to wait for Him.
