Day 218 – John 19:30
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

The death of Jesus on the cross is living proof of God’s great love for all of us. He sent His son Jesus so that we may experience eternal life, and in Him, we will receive forgiveness from our sins. The moment Jesus said that “It is finished.” It simply means that He won the victory, and He did what our Heavenly Father wants Him to do. Jesus chose to follow what the Father wants, and He allowed love to reign despite all the pain that He suffered. This is a great reminder for us to follow Jesus even if we go through hardships in life. Let’s choose to receive His great love and live in His ways. And just like what He did, may we learn to also glorify the name of God in our lives.
I pray that you will always remember what Jesus did on the cross just to redeem you from your sins.
