Day 231 – Acts 12:7
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

Peter was in prison, but an angel rescued Him. God sent the angel to help Peter. Sometimes, just like Peter, we also feel imprisoned in life. It feels like we are in the middle of a dark room, and you can’t find any light. But then, trust that in those moments, God will send His angel to help you. God will never abandon His followers. Just continue to glorify Him, and He will always be there to defend you from your enemies. Do what is right in His eyes, and you will be amazed about the next thing that He will perform in your life. God knows His children, and He keeps them in His heart.
I pray that you will always believe that God will rescue you as long as you choose to follow Him.
