Day 246 – Matthew 23:45
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

Jesus doesn’t want hypocrites. So stop focusing on the outside. Instead, deal with the things that are important to God. Work on the matters of your heart. The way you look would mean nothing if you couldn’t clean the inside. Allow God to purify your soul. Come to Him and let His love take away the bitterness in your heart. Choose to release forgiveness. Stop holding on to the things that will just hinder you from growing in God’s presence. Don’t follow your selfish desires. Instead, allow the word of God to guide you and purify your soul. What you do in public is useless if your heart is not aligned with God.
May you learn to deal on the inside first before anything else.
