His Word

Day 250 – Mark 8:2-3

“I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.”

Mark 8:2-3, NIV

Jesus said these words before He miraculously fed the four thousand people. It all starts with compassion. He sees the needs of the people, and He acknowledges the possible consequences if He doesn’t provide for them. And because of His compassionate heart, He was able to perform miracles. Jesus moves according to love. He doesn’t make things happen just to show His power. He recognized the need and the hearts of the people. So if you are praying for a miracle, then remember what He did to the four thousand people. He provided them with what they needed. Trust that Jesus will also do the same thing in your life.

May you always believe that God will perform miracles in your life.
