Day 256 – I John 1:6
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
1 John 1:6, NIV
Following Jesus and being in His presence means that you live a life without hatred, anger, and bitterness. If you claim that you have a relationship with Him, it means you allow His love to reign in your heart. There is always hope and light if you live according to God’s ways. His truth may sometimes hurt, but obeying what He said will lead you to experience a fulfilled life – a life out of darkness and shame. It’s not enough that you only know who God is. You need to encounter His love and be transformed in His arms. It takes courage to apply His word. It’s not easy to do, but it’s worth it.
