Day 258 – 1 Corinthians 1:31

Stop looking at your own strength. Focus on God and boast in His presence. God’s standards are very different from what you have in mind. He will use the foolishness of this world to make the wise realize that He can do everything. And He works not according to the things that we can do for Him, but it’s all about His great power. So that we can’t take pride in our own knowledge and skills. Instead, we will learn to be more dependent on His grace. And only then will we be able to glorify His name through our lives. When we acknowledge His presence, we will realize that we are simply nothing without Him.

May you always choose to boast in the Lord and not on your own strength and knowledge.
