Day 272 – Proverbs 28:6
Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.
Proverbs 28:6, NIV
Do not focus on your riches. Instead, continue to walk in integrity. Do not compromise your values just for you to gain honor and wealth that you can’t take with you through eternity. It’s better to glorify God than experience temporary success that will just destroy you in the end. Do what is right and know that your Heavenly Father is watching over you. Treat is as a seed that will bear fruit in God’s perfect timing. Don’t worry because God sees what you are doing in the secret. He acknowledges your works. It doesn’t matter if people don’t appreciate what you are doing. What’s important is that God knows your intentions.
