Day 273 – Proverbs 29:1

God’s warning and instructions are there to protect us. There may be moments when you find it hard to obey Him but always remember that He knows what’s best for you. There’s a bigger reason why God wants you to do certain things. So do not focus on your selfish desires. Instead, listen to His voice before the worst things happen. He is so concerned about your welfare. He wants to take good care of you, so follow Him. You may not always understand His ways but rest in the truth that He is an all-knowing God. He sees what’s ahead. Just hold His hands and don’t allow your own emotions or understanding to lead you to destruction. Acknowledge His rebuke and abide in His will.

I pray that you will not harden your heart. Instead, choose to listen to God and follow His words.
