Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

Honor your parents while they are still with you. Yes, you are growing up, and you need to think of your own future but know that they are also getting older. And they can’t be with you for the rest of your life. Remember that your parents are not perfect, but they deserve your respect and obedience. Not all of us are given a chance to enjoy the presence of our parents. So while you still have the time, make the most of your blessings and learn to appreciate their presence. Love them with all your heart and choose to release forgiveness in case they committed something bad to you. Know that your parents are gifts from God, and it pleases Him to see all your efforts for them.
I pray that you will choose to honor and obey your parents.
