Day 303 – Proverbs 29:4
By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down.
Proverbs 29:4, NIV
Do not allow your self-interest to reign. Greed will only destroy you in the end. If you want to find stability, then seek justice and stop following your selfish desires. Do not use your earthly riches just to get the things you want. Choose to follow God and do what’s right, even in moments when you feel so uncomfortable. Patiently go through the process and stop following the shortcuts. Do not abuse your authority. Instead, use it for God’s glory. Follow the rules that are set before you. Remember that you are not just doing it for your own sake, but it’s for God’s joy and honor.
