Day 304 – I Thessalonians 4:7
For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thessalonians 4:7,NIV
To live a holy life means to follow the will of God above our selfish desires. It means we choose to honor His power and not our own understanding. As His beloved children, we are all called to live in the presence of God because apart from Him, we are nothing. We need His guidance and wisdom. And the sins that we committed will hinder us from connecting to God. That’s why it’s very important for us to learn how to surrender and repent. We need to change the way we think and choose to abide in His ways. Sometimes, it’s challenging to do it, but as long as we put in our mind that the things that we do are for His glory, then we will always have enough courage to do the right thing.
