Day 340 – Proverbs 5:23
For lack of discipline they will die, led astray by their own great folly.
Proverbs 5:23, NIV
Don’t wait for the worst thing to happen. Choose to discipline yourself before it’s too late. Listen to God’s instructions and stop following your own desires. Do not be misled by temporary pleasures. You may find them so rewarding at first, but they will slowly destroy you in the end. So seek God’s wisdom and choose to abide in His presence. Don’t do something that will kill your soul in the end. Stop allowing your sins to fully consume your thoughts. Let go and repent. Surrender everything to God and let the Holy Spirit give you the grace to control yourself.
