Day 347 – James 3:6

The words that come out from your tongue will either encourage or break someone’s heart. So please be careful and try your best to think first before you speak. Yes, it’s challenging to do it, especially when you are used to express everything you have in mind, but as you grow mature in the Lord. You will realize that words can be powerful, and you can never take them back. A painful judgment, for instance, can’t be easily erased in someone’s mind. So please release blessings and not curse. Check your heart first, and let God purify you. Your tongue may be a small part of your body, but it can put one’s life into fire.

I pray that you will release words that will bless other people and not break their hearts.
