Day 349 – James 3:16
For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
James 3:16,NIV
Check your heart and pray that God will purify it. Do not be jealous or do things out of selfish ambition because it’s when the enemy can easily come in and tempt you to do certain actions that will break your heart in the end. Evil practice starts when you do things on your own and forget to include God in the picture. Acknowledge His will so that you will always be guided. Pray that God will teach you how to change the things that are not pleasing in His eyes. Let His love transform you from the inside out. Do things for His glory, and your life here on earth will always be worth it.
I pray that you will not let envy and selfish ambition reign inside your heart.
