Day 417 – Luke 7:47
Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”
Luke 7:47, NIV
We will only know what it means to be forgiven when we receive forgiveness. That’s why, you need to know your status in the eyes of God so that you will discover the importance of His grace. The moment you realize that you are a sinner and you need a savior, that’s the time you will learn to humbly ask for His mercy and forgiveness. And when you receive the love of God, you can also share it with those who sinned against you. Their mistakes will no longer be that big deal because, just like them, you know in yourself that you are once a sinner who also long to be forgiven by God.
