Day 419 – Luke 8:16
No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
Luke 8:16, NIV
If you know that Jesus is in you, then you are a bearer of His light. Don’t hesitate to share that light, especially with those who are in pain and broken. Go and let Him shine in the dark places. Don’t hide Him inside. You are meant to share the blessings that you received from Him. Expose His goodness and love. Keep doing the right thing, and one day, people will feel the presence of God because you allowed Him to use you. There may be moments when you can’t understand the reasons behind His instructions, but continue to obey Him, and you will know what it means to be a bearer of His light.
I pray that you will allow Jesus to shine in your life.
