His Word

Day 91 – Psalm 49:16-17

Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases; for they will take nothing with them when they die, their splendor will not descend with them.

Psalm 49:16-17,NIV

Use what you have to glorify God, including the temporary riches that you acquire here on earth. Remember that you can’t carry them with you when you die. So while you are still alive, learn to share His blessings and be a vessel of His love. The splendor of your house may increase, but all of them will be useless if you just keep what you have on your own. Please God, and don’t seek earthly pleasures. What matters most is you allow Him to use your life. Your temporary success can only be more meaningful if you share them with those who greatly need some help.

May you choose to serve other people through the blessings that God poured out for you.
