Dear God, Thank You

I’m truly grateful for the things that you did in my life. I’m happy that I have you by my side. Thank you for all the blessings. Thank you for giving me the chance to grow in your presence.

Father, thank you for all the rejections I’ve received. They keep me humble and strengthen my soul. Although they may sometimes be hard to accept, but still, thank you for teaching me how to learn from those difficult moments.

Thank you for the tears. It purifies my soul. It reveals the things that I need to deal with. It gives me a compassionate heart to comfort and help others.

Thank you for giving me the chance to correct my mistakes. The consequences may not be easy to bear, but you are there, giving me the grace that I need. Thank you so much for your unfailing love. Thank you for accepting me again and again.  

My Lord, thank you for the people around me. They may not be perfect, but they continue to mold me into a better person. Thank you for allowing me to know them and teaching me how to accept them.

Thank you for being so faithful. You never let go of my hands. You stayed even when I wanted to give up. You took good care of me, even in times of brokenness.

Thank you for entrusting me with your resources. Thank you for equipping me to carry different responsibilities. Thank you for guiding me in making the right decisions. You continuously give me wisdom to discern what’s right and wrong.

Above all, thank you for leading me to your heart. I never knew what love was until I encountered you in my life. Thank you for this precious and intimate relationship that we have. I feel rich and so blessed every single day because I know that you are there and you will never leave me.
