Don’t Hide the Light you have Inside
You are meant to shine. Jesus is in your heart. It means that He is giving you the chance to share His love with those who are broken and in pain. He is allowing you to experience His miracles. And you can’t receive more of Him if you will just stay in your comfort zone. You need to step outside the wall that you unknowingly created and explore the great blessings that God gave you. Share the goodness in your heart, and don’t be afraid. You may encounter pain and heartaches, but trust that you will have enough strength to make it through. You are more than who you think you are. There are certain people who need your help and support. You just need to be ready so that when God sends them, you will be able to genuinely serve them with the best that you can.
Don’t stay in the darkness. Someone is waiting for you. They need your skills, talents, understanding, and wisdom so that they will experience more of God. Freely offer what you have to those who are broken. Try to do new and exciting things. Do not dwell on your negative emotions. Instead, set your eyes on the promises that God gave you. Let your hope be rooted in His love and humbly walk along the path that your loving Father created. There may be moments when you can understand His ways, but keep doing the right thing. Be kind to those who hurt you. Serve those who persecute you and continue to pray for them.
Don’t be discouraged if people take you for granted. Maybe you feel like your efforts turned into nothing because of their negative response to the good things you did, but in the eyes of God, you are planting a fruitful seed in their hearts. You may not instantly see the fruits of your sacrifices, but when the perfect time comes, you will notice that all your labor is not in vain. One day, you will realize how God used your life to bless and transform someone’s heart. Everything will be worth it in the end. So don’t give up because you are on the right track.
Keep shining and do it for God’s glory. Don’t focus on your own strength. Instead, remember how big and great His love is. Open your heart and receive His grace. Let Him be the source of your inspiration so that when you find it hard to serve others, you will be reminded to keep going. Treat yourself as a vessel. Put Him at the center and let Him be your King. Only then will you learn to see yourself as an instrument of His love.
