Embracing The Truth With Pain Is Better Than Living A Life That’s Full Of Lies
We are somehow living in a world full of filters and expectations. Because of what we see on social media, our self-esteem was greatly affected. People tend to follow the standards that appear to be pleasing in others’ eyes, and they learned to hide the truth behind their smiles. Maybe, they just wanted to appear strong and independent, there’s nothing wrong with it, but the moment they start to ignore the truth inside and live in a life that’s full of lies, then they will never experience the fullness of God’s blessings. Remember that It’s okay not to be okay. The pain will always be there, and we can learn how to deal with it.
Embracing the truth with pain makes everything genuine. Sometimes, we experience painful memories, and that will lead us to feel scared inside. We wanted to forget everything and move on. But those hurtful experiences will always be part of your life. You can never go back and change everything. The best way that you can do is embrace it. Yes, it will never be easy. It’s heartbreaking. But the moment you learn to deal with it, you will experience breakthroughs in life. You will realize what loving yourself truly means. The truth may be painful, but it’s always worth fighting for. You will feel fulfilled on the inside even if you are going through some difficult situations.
You may appear happy on the outside, but if you deny your real situation, you will slowly forget what genuine happiness feels like. I hope you will never reach that part when the word “real joy” will gradually become unfamiliar to you. Always remember that you deserve to experience the fullness of this life. Our days here on earth are numbered. We will never know what will happen next. So while you still have time, please learn to live a genuine life.
Just be true to yourself. Stop pleasing the people around you. Instead, honor God in everything that you do. You don’t have to pretend. Embrace the pain because it will make you even stronger. Yes, truth truly hurts, but let God be your source of strength. The temporary things on earth can never satisfy the desires of your heart. So learn to focus on the things that will glorify God. Because He alone can teach you how to face the difficulties in life.
