Emptiness

When you feel empty
When you don’t know what to do
Everything is messed up
You just feel so disappointed

You lose control of anything
You wanted to push your plans
And ended up being nothing but
Crying alone with regrets

You feel you worked on something
You have poured everything
Until plans vanished in an instant
Left you feeling afraid and uneasy

However, you need to remember
God loves you so dearly
He will make way for you
Maybe He is just teaching you

You might need to pause
Reflect on your life
Try and listen to His voice
Now is the time to seek Him

Maybe He is just trying
To reveal greater things
And He is preparing you
One day, you will know

You will see everything
All the burdens you are going through
Will turn into lessons and blessings
That no one else can give you

Now is the best time
To trust Him on what’s ahead
Even if you have so many questions
Believe He knows what’s happening

This season will soon pass
Just have hope and hold on to faith
Take this season as a challenge
And let it strengthen you in a way
