Faith exists when you Truly Believe in God’s Promises
If you want to grow in your faith, then remember the things that God said in His word. Open your bible and read it every day so that you will be more familiar with His promises. You will never know the things you need to hold on to if you are not even aware of the wonderful future that God prepared. It would be very hard for you to keep moving if you don’t have the hope and salvation that Jesus offered to those who believe in Him. You won’t grow on your own. You need the Holy Spirit to guide and minister to you. The best way for you to experience Him is to saturate yourself with His word. That’s when you will realize that the scripture is alive.
Write God’s words in your heart. Don’t easily forget them. You need His reminders, especially when you go through obstacles in life. Your worries and fears will slowly take away your peace. And one of the best things for you to stay on track is to declare what’s written in the scriptures. They serve as the sword of the Spirit that will help you fight against the forces of the enemy. Through the lessons that you will learn in the bible, you will discover God’s true character. Your faith won’t be easily shaken because you know that He is greater than your circumstances. Just keep on listening to His voice. And don’t start your day without connecting to His heart. Let His word serve as the light to your path.
Believe in what God says, even if what’s happening around you is exactly the opposite of what you prayed for. Don’t just put His words inside your mind. But learn to apply them in your life. You will never know how powerful His promises are not unless you activate them. Take courage, and don’t be afraid. Yes, it’s hard to hold on to the things you can’t see, but that’s what faith is all about. God knows that you can do it. Please don’t stop trying and let His love give you the assurance that everything will be okay in the end.
Hold on to the testimonies that you read in the bible. Never forget what God did to Jesus, David, Moses, Noah, Elijah, and all the characters that are mentioned there. Try to recall their stories and the way God rescued them from their problems. Remember their faith and how He ministered to them. If He was able to perform miracles in their lives, then for sure, He will also do great things for you. Just stay focused on His power and don’t rely on your own feelings. Only then will you see yourself growing in His presence.
