Focus on your Own Growth and Not on the Outcome

The results are there because of the things that you learned along the process. So fix your eyes on your own growth and not on the outcome that you desire to happen. If you want to see changes in your life, then seek the lessons rather than the output. God will let you experience so many challenges, and every circumstance you face requires a different level of faith. In short, the things you will go through will push you to keep growing, and the outcome is only the fruit of the right decisions you take. It’s not the main goal. Your growth is more important than the temporary riches that you will acquire here on earth. Your wealth will fade, but the lessons that lead you to experience complete transformation will serve as your greatest treasure.

Value the process and not just the great blessings that you hoped to receive. You will miss out the important part of the journey if you keep on focusing on your own goal. Instead, try to look at the path that God allowed you to take and treasure those times when your faith is being tested. It means that He allowed you to grow and know Him more. He never wants to break your heart. In fact, He is strengthening your foundation. Hardships are there so that you will discover the important lesson that you need to learn, especially in handling the great blessings that He prepared only for you.

Cherish those moments that lead you to become a better person. Sometimes, you will not appreciate the outcome of your actions. But whether you like it or not, behind the mistakes you committed are wonderful lessons that you can learn. So instead of focusing on the negative things that happened, choose to trust in the hands of God. He is teaching something that will change your life forever. It will not make any sense for now, but soon, when He performs miracles in your life, you will understand why you need to go through the difficult path.

God would rather see you grow than allow you to experience the joy that will only last for a moment. He wants you to receive gifts that will take you to eternity. And it’s not that easy to receive it. He still needs to change your perspective and heal the wounds in your heart so that you will be equipped enough to handle His blessings. It’s a long and sometimes tough process, but as long as you focus on your own growth, then you will have the courage to face the obstacles along the way.
