God Is Too Good To Be Unkind

There’s this song entitled “Trust His Heart” by Babbie Mason that deeply touched my soul. The chorus of the song gives us a beautiful reminder:

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don’t understand
When you don’t see His plan
When you can’t trace His hand
Trust His Heart

The line that struck my heart the most was the one that says, “God is too good to be unkind.” I often remember these words every time I experience a struggle in life.

When we are in the middle of a storm, we tend to question God and blame Him for our troubles. We somehow feel like He doesn’t care.

However, the song reminds us that God is good. And the bad things that happen in our lives are nothing compared to His grace and faithfulness. We may think that He was being unkind for allowing us to go through so much pain, but if we look at the bigger picture, we will realize that His love is always there.

So, if you are in a situation where you can’t feel the presence of God, just remember this song. Choose to trust His heart. Recall His goodness and faithfulness in your life. He is a kind God despite all the trials you’ve been through. He continues to bless you with enough strength and courage to keep going.
