His Word

God Is Your Refuge

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Psalm 91: 4, NIV

If you feel so weak right now because of the things that are happening around you, then here’s a verse that would remind you of who God is. He is a faithful God with whom you can take refuge. He can be your shield and your strength. Sometimes, we live this life on our own, thinking that we can make it just by relying on ourselves. But the truth is, we need God. It’s Him who will cover us with His feathers. It’s Him who will save us.

So, let’s stay with Him because He is the One who could sustain us until the end. He is the One who can give us a life that is worth living. God will cover us. It means that there’s nothing that we should worry about because God is always there. When we are going through the darkest season in our lives, let’s remember that we can always call upon His name. We may not always feel or see His presence, but that doesn’t mean He wasn’t working. The truth is God is protecting us under His wings.

In Him, we can find refuge. We can lean on His shoulders every time we feel weak and tired. We can rest in His arms, especially when we are too exhausted. When we surrender in His presence, we can always receive the assurance that we need. When we choose to rely on His plans and will, we can always trust that everything will be okay in the end.

God’s faithfulness is our shield. It means that every time we are in the middle of a storm or unexpected tragedy, our hearts are still protected because God is good, and He is faithful enough to stay with us even in the most difficult season of our lives.

Prayer: Father God, thank you so much, Lord, for being our shield and refuge. Thank you for giving us more than what we deserve. I pray that you will continue to teach us how to trust in your name. Please give us the courage to believe in your promises. When we go through trials and problems, may you always remind us to keep our faith and stay in your arms. This, we pray, in Jesus’ name, amen.
