God’s promises and plans for you are bigger than your fears

As life pushes and brings you to unexpected places, you cannot avoid but feel afraid. You long for some changes. You are ignited with that desire to work hard and bring yourself to new places, but at the same time, you feel afraid. You feel the urge and the longing to take opportunities that excite you but simultaneously make you doubt if you can go through it successfully. Your mind will always be at the front every time you make decisions, and enemies will always await you to shake your faith in the One who granted everything. But please remember that when God makes ways in your life, it will not always look perfect and flawless. There will always be a time when the events and circumstances will shake you first before it reveals their true purpose.

You are afraid because your expectations are always ahead of you. When you experience this, know that it is normal and okay. It is our natural reaction when we welcome new things in our life. God understands that you are afraid of taking the steps He wants you to take, but He knows when you are ready. From your perspective, everything needs to be in its proper place. Still, for Him who orchestrated everything, you are already prepared.  That is why, rather than trusting your instinct, always remember His promises. Let your heart find comfort and strength in what He said.

God’s promises and plans for you are more significant than the fear you have inside. Remember, you move and obey Him not because of your dreams to prosper but for His promises to be fulfilled. Everything you have and you are right now is from the goodness of God. Always hold on to the things that last forever –  His promise. If you only entrust yourself to something that fades, you will always end up disappointed and heartbroken. Although pain is part of our lives, we can always choose the ones that are worth it. The suffering that you have been through and will experience always holds its purpose in your life. Just know that being afraid of taking things is part of your learning and growing process.

Courage and fear go together. Without fear, courage will not become meaningful. But God’s promises are always more significant than all fear added. Thinking of fear will not always make your move or change your life. Instead, take that step and witness more of God’s moving. Experience more of His love and promises. Bathe yourself with His word and go into the world armored with it. He will protect you all the way and be there with you in every decision you’ll make.
